Make Space Soundscape

Isobel Anderson has been commissioned to produce a soundscape for Towner’s Summer Make Space, a free drop-in for creative activities running throughout the summer holidays.
Responding to her own experience of East Sussex landscapes and to works in Towner’s collection which come from, or evoke a relationship with the natural environment, Isobel has been field recording at locations in East Sussex including Beachy Head, Rock-a-Nore and Pevensey Levels.
Audio gathered at these locations has been woven together with atmospheric effects, encouraging listeners to re-imagine these well-known landscapes.
